James Calder was honoured to be selected as a judge on the panel of Indesign Media Asia Pacific’s 2019 INDE.Awards, a premier design awards program for the Indo-Pacific region. Now in its third year, the INDE.Awards showcase the region’s best and most creative design on a global stage.
Entries for the various categories, including 11 jury-decided awards such as The Building, The Learning Space, The Work Space, The Influencer and The Wellness Space, and two People’s Choice awards The Prodigy and The Luminary, opened in November 2018 with submissions accepted until early February 2019. In each category created by the INDE team, the emphasis is placed on progressive architecture and design, with a specific focus on cultural context, location and user needs.
James and his fellow panellists, all industry experts, thought leaders and designers hailing from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, the UK, USA and Denmark, will judge the submissions over a three week period between February and March; the winners of each category will be announced at the INDE.Awards Gala Event, this year to be held in Melbourne on Friday 21 June 2019.
Further information about the awards and tickets to the gala event can be found by visiting the INDE.Awards site here.
